VISIT TRUTH REMAINS
I started my media career as an audio engineer for live theatre. I later moved into special effects, studio work at Sony Studios in NYC, and theatrical sound design.
Before podcasts were ever possible, we used to bring out our analogue gear in our little apartments and make our own "radio stations" for online download.
Rosanne Cash was my first in these series of experiments back in the 90's. She wanted to make a "radio show" that was, essentially, a songwriter's discussion. She was a fan of her fellow songwriter's, and she wanted to sit around playing each others music and talk about their process. It was a brilliant idea. And I was honored to be able to capture this conversation. I hope she brings it back again!
Since the advent of Podcasting services and platforms, distribution of podcasts is seamless. Next for me came Truth Remains, a true crime series; the Cosmic Weather Report, an astrologists report on World Trends; and Finding Unity, a personal project about finding yourself.

There are multiple distribution platforms out there for podcasting, I mainly use Anchor. It's super easy to use, it does mass distrubution to all platforms (Apple, Apotify, Audible, Google Play, Amazon, Radio, etc.) with a single click of a button.
Most of the people I have had the great fortune to work with are prolific at what they do and have plenty to say. I still capture using my analogue gear because I love a good, fat, rich sound - and avoid trendy, convenient capture devices and mics.
I clean and edit the audio using Adobe Audition and I export to Adobe Premiere for Youtube distribution. Or, if taking an audio feed from a video capture (as done in Truth Remains) I go from Premiere to Audition and export for Anchor distribution.
